Meet Nicola Burland - New Director

Alderney has been her home for 27 years. She married a local man and has brought up 2 wonderful children here. She has worked at the Alderney Gambling Control Commission for 18 years and she is currently Director of Operations. 

She is a qualified accountant, a Fellow of the ACCA, a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (trained mediator) and a member of the IoD (Institute of Directors). 

Alderney provides her family with an exceptional quality of life, and she is thankful to the residents who have built our community from the rubble they found here 75 years ago. She is grateful to be given the opportunity to use her expertise at the Connaught in order to assist in the care of our older population and in some way contribute to our Island community.
