Walk for Magnifier Appeal

Colleen Davy, resident of the care home, is walking 7 miles in 7 days

Whilst Colleen walked her "first mile"...

A member of The Connaught Art and Craft Club painted a picture of Colleen starting her walk for the Magnifier Appeal.

A sponsor form will be in the charity shop tomorrow.

Day 2 of Colleen's walk for the Magnifier appeal. Walked to Fort Clonque and back to the harbour for a well deserved cuppa. Sponsor form at the charity shop. 


Colleen's Friday's (Day 3) charity walk for the Magnifier at the Connaught.

Can you guess where she is ?
Clue... she walked to the tower turned around and walked back to the Connaught.

Day 4 Colleen started from The Jubilee on Sunday afternoon. 

Where did she go? 

From the Jubilee to Telegraph Tower and back

Day 5 - Colleen walked from the top of the Zig Zag down to Clonque, up the Vallee and back to The Connaught!

Day 6. Starting from Le Rond and walking around the back of the island towards the Impot. Back home via Longis Road!

Day 7 - Last day so she started at The Fort Nunnery, Longis Common. 

Made friend's with a duck but it declined going with her on the charity walk !

Colleen finished the walk on Braye Common. 

What a last walk .....it was quite warm and much more than a mile ....! Longis to Braye , don't you think?

Colleen has done her Charity walk for the Magnifiers, which will help others that have difficulty with reading letters, books, cards etc.

She raised .......£787.50!
