Care Standards Achieved

Staff at the Mignot Memorial Hospital and The Connaught care home have been congratulating colleagues on attaining their Care Certificates, which come upon successfully achieving the required standards in 15 aspects of care work. Is is for an agreed set of standards that define the knowledge, skills and behaviours expected of specific job roles in the health and social care sector.

At the MMH, five members of staff have just received their certificates and are pictured (right) with ward Sister Holly Neale. They are (Front row) - Trish Coleman and Noreen O'Brien; back row - Helen McLean, Esme Bowskill and Rachel Allen. Gregg Pepper and Julia Sharman have also just received their Care Certificates but were unable to be present for the photograph. 

At The Connaught, Seon Broad, Diane Allen, Shelley Wyeth and Marge Bohan are pictures being congratulated by Liz Bowskill (Right), manager of operations. Liz commented "We are so proud of our team who have worked extremely hard to achieve the certificates, especially during these difficult times. Their enthusiasm, passion and commitment o their own personal learning and development in the last 12 months has inspired us all. You can see them putting learning into practice every day and continues to raise the standards of care given to all of our residents in the Connaught as well as out clients in the community."
